Couple of days ago the sky got finally clear after long cloudy period! But it was also very cold, about -20 °C! At the beginning of my observing session, conditions were OK and there wasn’t any aurorae. But then, about 19.30 northern lights started to flame around the sky! The show was going on up to ~21.30. During that time, flaming aurora bands very dominating the show. The activity of the bands was a bit variable, first they got fainter but then again brighter and more active! During the active bursts, there was also beautiful rays in the belts and they were moving wery quickly! It was absolutely amazing! I also observed Z Uma, whose brightness was about 7.8 magnitudes.
