The pollen season has really started now here in Finland! The amount of birch pollen has been relatively low, but there has been plenty of pine pollen in the air! The pine pollen has also been causing some nice coronas around Sun and Moon, like this one that I observed in Turku, Finland between the night of 27th and 28th of May 2013. This lunar pollen corona was very well developed, besides the innermost aureola, there was also one rectangular -shaped ring outside it. Also the brightenings typical for the pine pollen corona were visible in the corona that I observed.
